What did you think of "Born on the fourth of July" movie?

For some reason I thought the saddest part of the film was when he
returned home in a wheelchair, how he was trying to be so positive and
pretending like everything was alright. When he was going to spend the
rest of his life paralysed from mid-chest down, when it was caused by
him joining for the wrong reasons. How he'll never walk again and
never get to have children
