Bertolucci abandons 3d request 'Me and You'

ROME -- Bernardo Bertolucci on Monday will return to the director's chair after an eight-year hiatus to shoot coming-of-age drama ''Io e te'' (Most of us) which, unlike previous plans, will not maintain 3d.Following announcing in Cannes that this can be a stereoscopic pic, Bertolucci states he's been expected to abandon that plan, thinking about the truth that ''3D is known as pricey and vulgarly commercial,'' he complained recently to students at Rome's CSC film school. Two-hander will feature youthful little-known Italo thesps Jacopo Olmo Antinori and Tea Falco becoming an introverted teen and also the older half sister getting a heroin problem.
